New York Dance Project is proud to announce that former New York City Ballet principal Joaquin de Luz will be dancing Jerome Robbins’ Suite of Dances to live music during its annual New York season at Symphony Space, to round out NYDP’s exciting and eclectic programming.
NYDP is a unique hybrid company that defies categorization: its young, talented, emerging dancers and professionals perform repertory ranging from the 19th-century master August Bournonville to the neo-Romantic beauty of Gerald Arpino, to the innovative early work of Robert Joffrey, as well as the electrifying work of contemporary choreographers such as Dwight Rhoden, Robert Battle, Larry Keigwin, Tyler Gilstrap and NYDP artistic director Davis Robertson.
